In the continuation of the PressPausePlay film, that highlights making, and sharing stuff has never been easier, Amazon have launched Amazon Studios.
It’s pitched as a big disruption to the film industry, that boasts it will give people (more) opportunity to get their film funded, produced and distributed.
By taking shorts and scenes of films submitted, the best will rise to the top, by people’s choice.
As @charliemlowe said in @ath‘s original tweet, the video doesn’t do it any justice, but it is a massive move toward Hollywood becoming more democratic than ever before.
